Fire Safety Week

The kids are having a great time this week learning about fire safety!

Pumpkin Paintings!

We wanted to paint pumpkins to hang up on our wall

But our teacher said we couldn't use the orange paint at all.

So we put our heads together, and since we're really smart,

We mixed together red and yellow to do our pumpkin art!

Johnny Appleseed's Birthday!

Last Friday was Johnny Appleseed's birthday! We celebrated by wearing pots on our heads and walking barefoot in our classroom just like Johnny Appleseed!

Reading Logs

Please remember to read with your child at home. I saw most kids have been reading, but a few don't have many days. I really want everyone to get a treat at the end of the month for reaching the reading goal, and it would be fun if the whole class was able to go bowling this spring! Happy reading!

Magic Milk

Today we made magic milk! We added drops of food coloring to the milk, then we added a drop of dish soap. The colors magically mixed together when the dish soap was added! 

Apple Investigation!

Today the kids did an apple investigation. They identified the color of their apple, weight, measured height, and made an apple print! It was a fun afternoon!
