Are you taller than an Emperor Penguin?
This month you are studying penguins and other polar animals! The kindergartener's learned that Emperor Penguins can grow to be 4 feet tall! We compared their height to a 4 foot tall penguin. Her are the results!

Thankfulness
I am thankful...
Madelynn - for my Mom and Dad because they feed me and I am thankful for my sister's hugs after school.
Jamisen -for Carson because he lets me stay over at his house.
Violet- because my mom and dad love me and my family gives me kisses.
Hannah - because my mom gives me snacks and a wedding dress.
Owen- for my mom because she makes me food and my family lets me go on cruises.
Sydney - for my grandpa and grandma because they give me donuts and my brother gives me kisses.
Jake- that mom gives me pretzels and bought me my transformers shirt.
Ava - that my dad gives me food and my Mom bought me a very cute Christmas dress.
Breonah - for my little brother's kisses.
Keira - because my grandma lets me pick corn from her garden.
Lucy- that my Mom and Dad bought me a house and I am thankful for my sister because she hugs me.
Carson- for my teacher.

A Pumpkin Investigation
The kids had fun with our pumpkin investigation! They measured the height with cubes, drew a picture of it, counted the lines, and discovered if it sunk or float.
