Monday January 13

We played catch with the scoops and balls in P.E.
We read books about Antarctic animals.
We are starting a pirate themed at-home reading log. The kids will bring 3 books home to read each Monday. Theywill keep them at home to practice and will return them the following Monday like usual. I sent home a pirate bear reading log today. For every 5 or more minutes they read each day they can color a bear. They are to return this on Monday with their books. If they bring their books and reading log back to me they will get to pick a treasure out of my chest. We "aargh" going to read a lot of books!
